Meatbank Co, Ltd. strives for creating a new food culture. The company specializes in food manufacturing with meat processing and distribution of beef, chicken, pork, Sous Vide products, sausages and many other products.

2014

  • Launched a new line of beef product using Sous Vide method of cooking by collaborating with a celebrity chef, Edward Kwon

2007

  • Started a Beef-Snack launching event

2006

  • Acquired a Technology Laboratory Certification from Ministry of Science and Technology (Feb. 21)

  • Acquired an exclusive sale rights of Jack Link’s Beef Snack in Korean market

  • Acquired a certification of INNO-BIZ (Aug.25)

  • Registered trademark rights of “Medel” by delicatessen product development

  • Opened a delicatessen shop in Homever market (former Carrefour Korea market)

2004

  • Completed development of Integrated Computer System, ERP

  • Opened a fresh marinated meat shop in GS Mart

2003

  • Opened a sausage shop in Carrefour Korea market

  • Acquired an International Quality Certification, SGS (Mar. 26)

  • Certified as a HACCP applicable workplace by the Korean Government (Jul. 15)

2002

  • Launched a sausage manufacturing business

  • Opened a sausage shop in Samsung Plaza

  • Opened a sausage shop in Lotte Mart

  • Completed and moved in to company building in Oryu-dong, Incheon, Korea (Dec.)

2000

  • Acquired quality certifications of ISO 9002 and KSA 9002

  • Entered into a technological agreement with Goofoo, Inc.

1999

  • Opened a fresh marinated meat shop in Lotte Mart (Guri branch in Korea)

  • Started opening shops in Carrefour Korea market

  • The company headquarter moved into a new state of art facility in Hakik-dong, Incheon, Korea (Nov.)

  • Acquired food service franchise business license

  • Launched step-by-step plans for HACCP

1997

  • Established Meatbank Co, Ltd. (Jan. 3)

  • Launched food services franchise business, specializing in specialty cuts of meat (82 branches)

  • Opened a fresh marinated meat shop in Carrefour Korea market (Ilsan branch in Korea)

1996

  • Moved to a new plant in Sipjeong-dong, Incheon, Korea (Jul.)

1994

  • Appason company was founded
